This website is operated by Anna Pierce Studio. Throughout the site, the terms “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Anna Pierce Studio.
By visiting this website, purchasing a piece, submitting a custom inquiry, approving custom work, or making a payment, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and to any additional policies, proposals, invoices, or written approvals associated with your order.
Please review these Terms carefully before using the website or placing an order. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the website or purchase from Anna Pierce Studio.
Our online store is hosted by Shopify Inc., which provides the e-commerce platform through which we offer products and services.
1. Online Store Terms
By using this website, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or place of residence and are legally able to enter into a purchase agreement.
You may not use this website, its content, or our products for any illegal or unauthorized purpose. You may not introduce viruses, malicious code, scraping tools, or other technologies that interfere with the website or compromise its security.
We reserve the right to refuse service, decline an order, cancel an order, or limit access to the website where we reasonably suspect fraud, unauthorized payment, abusive conduct, inaccurate information, unlawful activity, resale activity, or a security risk.
2. Products and Handmade Variation
Anna Pierce Studio creates handcrafted fine jewelry using precious metals, gemstones, pearls, antique materials, and other natural or reclaimed elements.
Because each piece is handmade or hand-finished, slight variations in texture, engraving, dimensions, stone placement, finish, color, and appearance may occur. These variations are part of the character of the work and are not considered defects.
Natural, antique, vintage, and reclaimed gemstones may contain inclusions, wear, irregularities, surface characteristics, previous repairs, or variations in cut and color. Photographs and digital screens may not represent color, texture, scale, or proportion exactly.
Measurements, weights, dimensions, and carat weights are approximate unless expressly identified as exact.
Unless a product description expressly states otherwise, chains, cords, boxes, stands, props, and styling accessories shown in photographs are not included with the listed piece.
3. Product Availability, Pricing, and Errors
All prices are shown in U.S. dollars and may change without notice. Sales tax, insured shipping, duties, and other applicable charges may be added separately.
Availability is not guaranteed until payment has been accepted and the order has been confirmed.
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, pricing, availability, and other website information are accurate. However, typographical, photographic, pricing, inventory, or descriptive errors may occasionally occur.
We reserve the right to correct errors, update information, refuse or cancel an order affected by a material error, or discontinue a product at any time. If we cancel a paid order because of an error or lack of availability, we will issue a refund to the original payment method.
4. Orders and Payment
The person placing an order represents that they are authorized to use the payment method provided and that all billing, shipping, and contact information is accurate.
An order confirmation acknowledges that we received the order. It does not obligate us to fulfill an order if verification, availability, payment, pricing, or security concerns arise.
Ready-to-ship website purchases require payment in full at checkout.
Unless otherwise stated in writing, custom and made-to-order projects ordinarily require a 50% deposit to begin, with the remaining balance due upon completion and before shipment or pickup.
Custom design, consultation, sourcing, and other professional service fees are nonrefundable once the corresponding service has begun or been performed.
Completed jewelry will not be released or shipped until all outstanding balances—including approved additions, alterations, sales tax, and shipping charges—have been paid.
5. Custom, Made-to-Order, and Personalized Work
Custom jewelry is a collaborative process. By approving a proposal, design, gemstone, model, engraving, size, chain length, or invoice, the client confirms that the stated information is correct and authorizes Anna Pierce Studio to proceed.
Clients are responsible for carefully reviewing all details, including spelling, wording, dates, symbols, capitalization, punctuation, dimensions, sizing, chain length, materials, finish, gemstone selection, orientation, and shipping information.
Written approval is final. Changes requested after approval may not be possible and may result in additional charges and production time.
Unless otherwise stated, custom quotes are valid for seven calendar days and may change afterward due to fluctuations in gold, gemstones, labor, or vendor pricing.
Production timelines are good-faith estimates and are not guarantees unless expressly agreed in writing. Timing begins after all required payments, materials, measurements, and approvals have been received.
Custom work is also governed by our Custom, Made-to-Order and Personalized Work Policy and any project-specific proposal, invoice, or written correspondence.
6. Returns, Cancellations, and Final Sale
Due to the one-of-a-kind, limited-production, and handcrafted nature of our jewelry, all purchases are final sale.
We do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind, personal preference, sizing errors, or buyer’s remorse.
Custom, made-to-order, personalized, engraved, resized, modified, and altered pieces cannot be canceled, returned, or exchanged once work has begun. This includes customization requested after an original order has been placed.
Requests to cancel an unfulfilled, ready-to-ship order may be considered if received before shipment, but approval is not guaranteed.
If an item arrives damaged, defective, incorrect, or materially different from what was approved, please contact us promptly with photographs of the item and packaging. Any available remedy will be handled in accordance with our Return and Refund Policy and applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
7. Shipping and Delivery
Orders are shipped according to our Shipping and Delivery Policy.
Fine jewelry orders are sent using an insured carrier and ordinarily require a signature. The client is responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address and ensuring that an authorized adult is available to receive the package.
Address-change requests must be submitted in writing before a shipping label is created and may require additional verification. We may decline to redirect a package after shipment for security or insurance reasons.
Carrier delays, customs delays, weather, service interruptions, and other events outside our reasonable control may affect delivery estimates.
International clients are responsible for any applicable import duties, taxes, brokerage charges, and customs fees unless expressly stated otherwise.
8. Jewelry Care, Repairs, and Resizing
Fine jewelry is durable but not indestructible. Clients are responsible for wearing, storing, cleaning, and maintaining jewelry appropriately.
Normal wear, accidental damage, impact, improper care, loss, theft, unauthorized alteration, and work performed by another jeweler are not considered manufacturing defects.
Repairs, refinishing, polishing, restringing, stone tightening, maintenance, and resizing may require an additional fee. Not every design can be resized or altered.
Once a piece has been delivered, the client is responsible for its safekeeping and is encouraged to obtain appropriate insurance against loss, theft, damage, and other unforeseen events.

9. Billing and Account Information
You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate billing, shipping, and contact information for all purchases.
We may limit or cancel orders that appear to have been placed using unauthorized payment information or by dealers, resellers, distributors, or other parties purchasing for undisclosed commercial resale.
If we modify or cancel an order, we may contact you using the email address, telephone number, billing address, or shipping address provided with the order.
10. Third-Party Services and Links
The website may contain links to third-party websites, payment providers, applications, shipping providers, or other services that are not operated by Anna Pierce Studio.
We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, availability, security, policies, or practices of third-party websites or services. Use of third-party services is subject to the applicable third party’s own terms and policies.
11. Personal Information
The collection and use of personal information submitted through the website is governed by our Privacy Policy.
Payment information is processed through Shopify and its authorized payment providers. Anna Pierce Studio does not directly store complete credit-card information.
12. Intellectual Property
All website content and original jewelry designs—including photographs, artwork, text, drawings, sketches, renderings, motifs, product names, logos, models, and design elements—belong to Anna Pierce Studio or their respective licensors.
This material may not be reproduced, copied, modified, manufactured, distributed, sold, or commercially used without prior written permission.
Payment for a custom piece purchases the finished jewelry and agreed services. It does not transfer ownership of the underlying design, drawings, models, production methods, photographs, or other intellectual property unless expressly agreed in writing.
13. Prohibited Uses
You may not use this website or its content:

14. Website Availability and Limitation of Liability
We make reasonable efforts to maintain accurate information and a secure, functioning website, but we do not guarantee that access will always be uninterrupted, timely, secure, current, or error-free.
Except as expressly stated or required by law, the website and its content are provided on an “as available” basis.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Anna Pierce Studio will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of the website or purchase of a product.
For any claim relating to a product or order, our aggregate liability will not exceed the amount paid for the product giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
15. Indemnification
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold Anna Pierce Studio and its owners, employees, contractors, and service providers harmless from third-party claims arising from your unlawful use of the website, violation of these Terms, or infringement of another party’s rights.
16. Severability and No Waiver
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the fullest extent permitted and the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not waive our right to enforce it later.
17. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our published policies and any applicable proposal, invoice, written approval, or project-specific agreement, constitute the agreement between the client and Anna Pierce Studio concerning the applicable website use, product, or service.
Project-specific written terms control if they directly conflict with these general Terms.
18. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable consumer-protection law requires otherwise.
To the extent permitted by law, disputes relating to these Terms or a purchase from Anna Pierce Studio will be brought in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York.
19. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time by posting a revised version on the website.
Changes apply prospectively from the effective date displayed and do not retroactively alter an order already placed unless both parties agree in writing.
